Guys, i wanna to introduce you about DotA 2 Interface. So, when you already got your own beta key, you are already friendly with this interface. I made this article on my own DotA 2 Account.
After DotA 2 has been installed on your PC, you must sign in your steam account then run DotA 2. Cause your Steam account is also your DotA 2 account. Then, the home interface will be showing up (after loading screen of course).
By the way, i wanna to explain about my losses. You can see that it has been 6 times!
Why it can be happened?
- I’m newcomer in DotA 2 (but not DotA, take a look About Page). I know you can understand.
- There is no teamwork. Yeah, this is also happened if we are playing with strangers.
- Leavers are still alive! The worst DotA 2 match about leaver i ever had, that is when my team just have 2 players (included me of course). Yup, that is so sad and bad.
- Profile Information. That is showing you how many your wins
, losses 
, abandoned 
(if leaving a game). That also shows as detail about the chosen heroes. But in Beta, you will get no XP, even if you always win the matches (that is why the level is always 1). - Chat Menu of the chosen server for you. Your messages can be viewed of all members at right panel.
- Friends List. You and your friends will know each other about information what are you doing in DotA 2, such as finding match, playing as ‘hero’ with level, and more.
- Playing in regions. You must choose the region, at least one region for playing. I recommend you to choose all regions. It makes you just need little time to find the match.
- News of DotA 2. The news is also showed in blog.DotA2.com.
- Top Live Matches. DotA 2 will show up 3 top matches and also can be watched by you.
- Menu.
- Configuration Menu.
- Exit.
Most recent updates, will be showing up in this menu.
This is Play Menu. Click Play Game to find the match automatically. Or make private room, you also can make the password for your own room and set the game mode, Captain Mode or All Pick. But in this Beta, Tournament and Tutorial are still under construction.
At right panel, those are available lobbies, you can join it if you know the lobby’s password (from the owner of course).
Nah, i like this feature of DotA 2. DotA 2 will show all active matches and you are also welcome to watch them. Awesome!
DotA 2 shows available heroes and you can know the information about the heroes without playing in the match.
I still don’t know what is the meaning of this menu. Maybe because this is Beta or just a blank menu like that.
